“Well then, should we conclude that we Jews are better than others? No, not at all, for we have already shown that all people, whether Jews or Gentiles, are under the power of sin. As the Scriptures say,
‘No one is righteous—
not even one.
No one is truly wise;
no one is seeking God.
All have turned away;
all have become useless.
No one does good,
not a single one.’
‘Their talk is foul, like the stench from an open grave.
Their tongues are filled with lies.’
‘Snake venom drips from their lips.’
‘Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.’
‘They rush to commit murder.
Destruction and misery always follow them.
They don’t know where to find peace.’
‘They have no fear of God at all.’
Evil exists in our world today. There is a great deception caused among so many people, and just like any great deception, the people can’t see the wrong in it. Satan is a great deceiver. He has worked his way into many people’s lives and has created much destruction and deception. He has torn through families and he has torn through our government systems.
But this isn’t new to God. He has seen this many times throughout our existence. God wiped out nearly the entire population during the flood in Noah’s day because the people fell under the deception of the devil and became so evil. Sadly, we are just about in the same situation as in the times of Noah before the flood, and later, the times of Lot, and how wicked Sodom and Gomorrah were.

Satan hates Jesus, and all who follow Him
“What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.”
When we think of Jesus, we think of someone who was gentle; someone who sat around with children and farm animals and had a beautiful life. However, where this common picture has come from, I don’t know.
Jesus’ life was anything but calm and peaceful. The bible tells us that He didn’t have a place to lay His head. We are told that people were scoffing at Him and ridiculing Him and threatening to stone Him.
The same may be true for us who follow Jesus today. Just like Jesus, we have to maintain our message of Truth and speak it boldly while there is still time. The great majority will reject us, and we will likely be persecuted to some degree (jokes and slander are a basic form of persecution, while death is the greatest form of persecution).
Because sin is so rampant today, those not filled with the Spirit of God won’t see anything wrong with the sinful ways of the world. The deception of Satan is like a cloudiness in our minds. When we walk with God and avoid sin, we see clearly and have great discernment. When we allow the enemy to come into our life through an open door, that clarity and discernment starts to fog over. This is when we start doing things that displease God.

The bible tells us that evil will seem good and good will seem evil. This is Satan’s strategy for us. This is how a whole world can go against the Christian faith and turn from their founding roots; this is how the people of Jesus’ time could go against Him.
“What sorrow for those who say
that evil is good and good is evil,
that dark is light and light is dark,
that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.”
So much corruption in our society today
“You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!”
When you read this Scripture, can you relate it to today’s society? We can easily see this going on all around us. Most of us have people in our own family who carry these characteristics and behaviors. The bible tells us that it can only get worse.
So, why bother preaching the Word or writing articles like this, people might ask? Jesus shared the Good News right up to the final moments of death. We are called to do the same thing. God has a bigger plan for us then Satan does. God’s plan is to bring as many as possible into His Kingdom while there’s time, so they can enjoy eternal Life. Satan, however, has a plan only to deceive as many as possible to lead them away from God and into eternal death in Hell with him.
So, regardless of persecution or of what’s to come, we are called to be a light in the midst of darkness. We are called to share the Message of Christ with as many as we can, even if it seems like no one is listening. When someone hears the Word of God, God Himself will start working on them. Many times, we who share the Word won’t see the fruit of our labor, but God does.
If our whole life’s work and dedication to the Lord results in much persecution, even leading to death, and only one person comes to Christ through our labor, then we should rejoice. The bible tells us that Heaven rejoices when a soul is saved.
“In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.”
Soon, society will completely reject Christians; even to death just as they did with Jesus
“For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God.”
Most Christians, maybe not as many today as this stuff isn’t preached in most churches anymore, have heard that there is a coming persecution for Christians. The book of Revelation tells us that there will be many Martyrs for Christ in the last days. Of course, churches don’t want to preach this; this would scare the people away, right?
But if nobody tells anyone, then how will they know what’s to come? The bible also tells of a great falling away; could it be that intense persecution falls on the believer, and because they weren’t taught what to expect, they turn from their faith to save their life? Well, again, that’s the deception of Satan. He will make people think they are saving their life, when in fact, they are committing to eternal death.
In Jesus’ time, Jewish and religious leaders would not accept that Jesus was their Messiah. When Jesus claimed to be God, they killed Him for blasphemy. Guess what, folks? History repeats itself.
Right now, at the time of this writing, the Jewish leaders in Israel are forming a seventy-nation leadership and they are bringing back the laws of Noah. These are called the “Noahide Laws”. These laws will seem harmless, and they will appear to bring about peace. They will be used to maintain a common religion among all mankind. Right now, this sounds good, and many nations have already signed up for this.
However, one of the Noahide laws is regarding “Blasphemy”. If we consider that the Jewish leaders still to this day will not accept that Jesus is God, anyone who claims He is will be considered blasphemous according to their law. The penalty for this is death by decapitation. Sorry to get graphic here, but this is where we are heading.
If you want to read about these laws, it’s available right now in local news and on the internet. The majority of nations have already signed on to this agreement on our behalf, like it or not. The bible warns us of a One-World-Religion; well, these new laws will pave the way.
I’m not generally the type to talk about political issues or about conspiracies, however, when the bible tells us what to expect through prophecy, I tend to believe the bible and want others to understand. Hey, maybe for the first time in history, the bible will be wrong. But I wouldn’t hold your breath on that.
“Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”
The righteous in Christ will prevail
“I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, ‘Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.’”
The bible tells us in Revelation, and many other books of the bible, that there is coming a day of Tribulation where evil will go against good. In this time, the enemy is given a period of time, a total of seven years, where he will deceive and destroy many. During this time, those alive, who are in Christ, will have a difficult time surviving.
However, this isn’t the time of Satan’s wrath; it’s the time of God’s wrath, during the Great Tribulation. In this time, many will lose their lives to eternal death. There will be a great punishment for those who reject Jesus, like never before. Yes, Christians in those times will lose their lives for their faith, but by the end of the seven years, the bible tells us that nearly all people will lose their lives.
The difference between those who take the mark of the beast and worship the image of the beast and those who follow Jesus is the difference between life and death. Only those who stay true to Jesus will gain eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven; for everyone else, great Judgment followed by eternal separation from God in the lake of fire.
This kind of article won’t be widely spread and shared. This kind of article will cause much discomfort and people will choose to turn from it. This kind article will bother the spirit of Satan and may soon be banned from social media all around. Again, that’s why churches don’t preach on the book of Revelation much these days. It’s just not a popular topic.
Look, if you are a follower of Jesus, these things won’t come as a surprise. We are told to understand the times we are in. We are given many indications and signs to warn us of the times we are about to come into. It’s in this time that we believers must move to complete repentance of our sins and fully surrender to Jesus. Only God can protect our souls. Our souls go on forever; either in Heaven or Hell.
The way we choose to live right now will result in where we will spend eternity. Satan is deceiving all of society and causing the Gospel of Jesus to become that of Blasphemy, but it’s Jesus who will reign forever and ever. We must be sure to choose the right side in this battle that is now and that is to come. Don’t get deceived.
