For many of us, we spend most of our life trying to figure out where we belong and what we are supposed to do with this life. For many, it’s a day in, day out process of the same old things. And, many go to their grave without ever knowing their true purpose in life.
In this article, I want to share some knowledge about God with those of us who don’t know or might have forgotten. As we get overworked and overwhelmed in life, we can start to lose sight of all that is good and hopeful.
God wants us to walk with Jesus. He wants us to experience freedom, victory, and purpose. He wants us to love Him and follow Him. But He won’t force us. Sadly, there are many who won’t even try to turn to Him because they believe that they can’t.
Satan is out there trying to trick everyone to make us believe that we can’t have a relationship with Jesus, and in some cases, he tries to make us believe that none of this is real and true. I wrote an article prior to this one, titled; “3 things Satan doesn’t want you to know.” I did this because he is a deceiver who is trying to prevent all people from coming to know Jesus. If he can prevent this, he can prevent us from experiencing eternal life in Heaven alongside Jesus.
We also must know the promises of God and how they apply to us. We don’t need to perish. God’s plan is that none should perish, but through His Son, have eternal life.

3 things Jesus wants each of us to know
Although there are many things that we will learn as we walk with Christ, there are a few basics that He wants us to know. If we want true victory and peace in our lives, we must be willing to accept Jesus and His message and stop believing the lies of the enemy.
Satan works through many avenues; people who are our friends, coworkers, and acquaintances, media and social media, and especially in the public education systems. Satan is working his way into every area he can to spread his word that Christianity is a lie and that it’s worthless. Although many will believe him, we don’t have to.
Soon, Satan will be put in his place, along with all the fallen angels and his followers. God has a plan for Satan and all who follow him. But for those who want to live, we can reach out and grab hold of Life.
Here are 3 things that Jesus wants all of us to know:
- You are accepted
- You are loved
- God has a plan for you
1. You are accepted
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, ‘Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.’ Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’”
A misconception in society is that only a certain few can be saved. Some believe that they are not eligible for Salvation. Jesus is accepting anyone and everyone who is willing to believe in Him and trust Him with their life. Regardless of how bad we think we are, all we need to do is to call on His name and invite Him into our lives.
He accepts us in any condition and at any age. There is no criteria that we don’t already meet. The only thing that is required is that we come to Him in full surrender and that we abandon all other gods in our life.
We are told that God is a jealous God, who punishes to the third and fourth generations those who love other gods (Deuteronomy 5:9). But then He goes on to say in verse 10, “But for those who love Me and obey Me, I will lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations.”“Jesus accepts us in any condition and at any age. There is no criteria that we don’t already meet. ” Click To Tweet
God will accept anyone who will accept His Son. He won’t tolerate divided loyalty. Although God may give money and lavish us with gifts, He won’t tolerate us loving those things and worshiping them as gods. So, when we come to Jesus, come with the attitude that He is the only thing in our life that matters now, and we will be accepted.
2. You are loved
“We love each other because he loved us first.”
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. Whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
God created us because He wanted companions in His life. He could’ve created an army of robots to work the land and worship Him, but just as He is a God of love, He wanted to feel the same love, too. So, He gave us free will to choose who we would love.
Sadly, many in the world love themselves and the things of the world. But for those who get saved and love the Lord, He and all of Heaven rejoices (Luke 15:10).
Too many people are in a state of hurt. They have been mistreated in some way, and all trust is broken. Now their guards are up and they are in a state of defense. They have believed the enemy who said, “You are no good; you can’t be loved even by God Himself.”
Even though they long for the loving affection of the Lord and the peace in their hearts that He is offering, they are broken in spirit and feel like they can’t be loved.
We are all loved. God, the one who created us and the world and everything in it, loved us first. He didn’t say, “Well, if they love me then I will love them.” No, even in our worst behavior and mindsets, He sent His own Son to become an atonement for our sins so that we could be saved from Judgment and share life with Him in the Eternal Kingdom.
If He hadn’t done this, we all would’ve perished. So, from His grace and love, we get another chance. Those who are willing to believe this and accept it are the one’s who will experience freedom and peace and joy and victory for eternity.
If we would just reach out to Jesus, fully surrendered, and invite Him into our lives, He Himself would show His love to each of us; even those who think they are the worst of the worst!
3. God has a plan for you
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
We have all heard someone say, “God has a plan for you.” For many, they have grown tired of hearing this. They have a bible and they go to church and they even pray; but this plan?
God does have a plan for each of us. But we must understand that if we want to experience the true fullness of the power of God in our lives, we must be willing to go to Him in full-surrender and in complete loyalty and obedience to Him.
We can be saved, and we can live in turmoil all at the same time. We can make poor choices while believing in Jesus. When we invite Jesus into our lives and when we cry out to God to help us and give us a life of freedom and victory, He is expecting that we want to be part of a relationship with Him, and Him alone.
A relationship is one where we trust each other, and we are loyal to one another. A relationship is one where two people each contribute to the relationship. This is what God wants from us; a loyal and loving relationship.
It is when we are walking in true fellowship and obedience to God where we will see His plan revealed in our lives. Many aren’t willing to abandon things in their lives that they feel are important; many aren’t willing to walk fully with Jesus; many won’t experience God’s true plan for their life.
We don’t have to struggle with emotion and circumstance. Jesus doesn’t promise anywhere that we will be rich and living in luxury when we follow Him, but instead, that we will be loved and saved and cherished. In this perishing world, we should take great joy knowing that the one who holds power over everything is ready and willing to accept us, even when we make mistakes and stumble around.
We only need to make a choice that we want a better life and that we are ready to try whatever He asks of us. Following Jesus does require us to get rid of anything in our lives that will hinder that relationship, but when we do, we can experience the fullness of Christ and all that was given to Him.
Stop listening to the lies of the devil who is only out to steal, to kill, and to destroy!
